Privacy Policy

From everyone with an account

• Name, email address, phone number and password (or your Google sign-in).
• Profile details such as city and state.
• Messages, files and reviews you send through MAACTO.

From Customers

• Booking details: the service, scope answers, preferred date and time, and notes.
• Financial and business documents you share for the work (for example bank statements, invoices, PAN, GST or company details).
• Payment records such as amount, status and transaction ID. Card, UPI and bank details are collected and processed by our payment partner, not stored by us.

From Maactors (professionals)

• Resume, qualifications, experience, identity and professional documents.
• Interview recordings (video and audio), their transcripts and the evaluation scores. Interview answers are transcribed and scored with the help of an AI service; a person at MAACTO reviews borderline and appealed results.
• Bank or UPI details for payouts, availability and work history on MAACTO.

Automatically

• Device and usage information such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, and essential cookies and local storage that keep you signed in and remember settings like dark mode.

• To create and secure your account and sign you in.
• To match bookings with a suitable, available Maactor and deliver the service.
• To process payments, refunds, payouts and invoices.
• To verify and interview professionals before they can receive work.
• To send booking updates, receipts and service emails. We send marketing only if you agree, and you can opt out anytime.
• To provide support, prevent fraud and misuse, and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
• To understand how MAACTO is used and improve it.

We use your data on the basis of your consent, to perform our contract with you, and where the law requires or permits it. We do not sell your personal data.

• The assigned Maactor, who sees your booking details and the documents you share for that booking only.
• Service providers who process data for us under contract: Supabase (database, file storage and sign-in), Vercel and Hostinger (hosting), Resend (email), OpenAI (interview transcription and scoring), Razorpay (payments) and Google (if you sign in with Google).
• Authorities, when required by law or to protect rights, safety and prevent fraud.
• A successor business, if MAACTO is transferred to a separate company or acquired, under the same protections as this policy.

Some of these providers store or process data outside India. We use them only where the law allows such transfers and with safeguards in place.

• Account and booking data: while your account is active, then as long as needed for legal, tax and accounting requirements (generally up to 8 years for financial records).
• Documents shared for a booking: until the work is complete and any review period ends, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or the law requires us to keep them.
• Interview recordings: up to 12 months after the decision on your application, unless needed longer for a dispute.

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you and how it is used;
• correct, complete or update it;
• delete it, including closing your account, where we are not required to keep it;
• withdraw consent you gave earlier (this doesn't affect what we did before);
• nominate someone to exercise these rights if you are unable to.

Customers can delete their account any time from Settings → Delete account. Maactor accounts are closed by us on request, after ongoing work is handed over and payouts are settled. In both cases, booking, payment and tax records are kept without contact details for as long as the law requires. See how account deletion works.

For anything else, write to info@rushyendra.com from your registered email. We reply within 30 days. If you aren't satisfied, you can contact the Data Protection Board of India.

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls so each person sees only their own data, secured file storage and limited staff access. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

MAACTO is for people aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from children. If you think a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or in the app before it applies.

For privacy questions or complaints, contact our Grievance Officer at info@rushyendra.com. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within 30 days.
